Setbacks

I'm still pretty upset.

Early this evening I had to forcefully pull my eldest of my youngest. The fight tonight crossed a line, and the consequences will have to be severe.

A conversation with my ex at 11pm about it did not help matters.

  1. I remember fighting with my little sister a lot as we were growing up, it drove my mother crazy for years. But now, as grown ups I must say she is one of the most important person in my life, better then a best friend. I know things may look bad now, but they can change.

  2. Ditto what Ana said... The sister and I fought like CRAZY and now we are closer to each other than pretty much anyone else. Don't ignore it, of course, but don't get too stressed out about it either. It's a natural part of growing up, I think.

  3. I do hope it works out that way.

I felt that I had to step in because it seemed life-threatening.

My mom and I talked about it a bit today. There were some fights between my brother and I when we were growing up. We were farther apart in age, however, than my sons are, and I was... mature?

They do have to figure this out, and it is part of growing up.

I, in turn, have to vanquish the stress, and realize that at this point, things are set in motion. The time when I can influence them greatly has come and gone.

I do hope it works out.
