Lies

Contrary to my last post of last year, I stayed in contact with the Filipina, spending time with her on four occasions in December, culminating in a New Year's Eve outing. At the end of that I decided that friendship was not going to be an option when we kept doing more than friends should.

January 1st I deleted my Line and What's App accounts completely, severing all possible tires with girls overseas, I removed all but 30 people from my Facebook, and I culled everyone who was not a family member or close friend from my phone contacts. I deleted messages and emails. I made it so that it would be nearly impossible to go back to anyone I'd been with.

A clean break. Or as close to it as I could get.

I even deleted the Thai girl but after she messaged me and asked me to reconsider, I relented. 

The next time I make a break, I will have to be even more cold-hearted and thorough. Even the slightest crack let's water seep through, and eventually breaks the wall.
