Sometimes you are just too habitual.
My iron plugs in to an outlet in the wall that is connected to the light switch. When the light switch is turned off, the outlet has no power.
Sometimes... ok, usually, I set up the ironing board, plug in the iron, turn it on, then leave the room to let it warm up. When I leave the room, I turn off the light. Habit. Then I have to go back in and start all over again.
Today I did this twice in a row.
