You can love lots of people, it doesn't mean that you go well together. A relationship is a combination of many different aspects and they need to all come together for happiness. And most especially how 2 people get along in the day to day stuff....that really needs to be a pleasant experience, or your life will be one big misery.

ReplyDeleteAs I tend to do, I retreated a bit the next day, as did she, and we put off any actual decision until her return to town.

Sometimes I wait too long for the right moment, and it never comes.
But I know things cannot work out without happiness.
