The Geek

Tonight was the first date I'd gone on in awhile, and it went well.

The geek first contacted me a week and a half ago, and in the time since we've exchanged long messages about indie music and South East Asia (she's going at the end of summer).  I've guessed correctly that she loved Big Bang Theory, and that she was the youngest of her family.  She works with digital media and is into yoga, and I like the fact that she owns "I'm Blogging This" panties (or so I hear).

All that gives you a certain picture, but I would be remiss to not share my observation that she is very much an "in charge" individual.  At the restaurant we both simultaneously and authoritatively answered the hostess' question as to how many we were, and it was clear that she (not the hostess) was picking which table we sat at.

She's forward, dangerously alpha, perhaps possibly domineering, but still interesting.  Certainly we share musical tastes, and world views.  Most intriguingly, she has a taste for being, shall we say, less controlling in the bedroom.

After supper, I respected the agreed upon rules for the date, and clothes stayed, but I did explore some wet territory, and quickly discovered the light gasping moan and squirming that placing my hand on her throat would induce.  She pointed out it was forward of me, and I said that it was merely a matter of being observant.  When I brush my hand nearby and there is a positive reaction, I continue researching the area.
