Daytime

Sun is shining.

Kid and dog disappeared at 1am after a father went out to a car in front of his house where two red-eyed teens were flicking lighters repeatedly, and proceeded to discuss the day of the week it was, and the sleeplessness that has afflicted the household of late.

I can listen to Phantom Planet this morning as a side effect sort of result.  It's still very quiet.

I should summarize that "Geography of Bliss" book, either for my own sake or for sharing.   All I remember at the moment is that happiness is not thinking about happiness, happiness is to not envy, happiness is having people you trust around you, and that the Thai have a saying "mai pen lai" meaning "never mind".  Which I suppose is four things.

The summer is almost here.  The key is to not feel trapped, but instead... home.

Here's a question from the book... where would you want to be buried when you die?

I suppose here is good enough, although the west coast, being my birthplace, comes to mind.

Enough rambling for now.
