She said she knew what she did crossed a line. She was grateful during the week when it seemed I forgave her. She was devastated when I said I couldn't marry her. She recovered when we talked it out and we agreed to give things another chance.
So... it is nervously that I say this... It's back to where it was, mostly, except I think I've drawn a line in the sand that we both know is there now.
The prof would say to me "what you permit you promote" and that's been in the back of my mind. I hope that what I've done is to stop permitting her to abuse me.
If you went out on a date with a new person and they rang you 60 times the next day, screamed at you for no good reason and then ripped your collar off your shirt ... would you go back for a second date?
