Neutrality Act

Recently I had been reading a book on how hard-wired certain thinking patterns are in the brain, and it reminded me a basic truism.  People read into things what they want, or more correctly, what their mindset dictates.

No matter what I experience or learn, I will always see it in a way skewed by my previous experiences and by who I am at the moment.

There is no neutral thought.

  1. Great insight. You're completely correct. Everything is open to interpretation. Life sometimes makes someone see an underlying context that isn't there. I'm working on "fixing" this flaw that I have.
