Is everybody special or is nobody special?

That's the thought that occurred to me as I was contemplating the much-maligned (by me, anyways) option of going to a bar and meeting someone based on mere proximity and looks.

If it is this difficult to meet some online (and to be honest it wasn't always this way, so it could just be where I'm at lately) where you have a wide range of people to choose from, and foreknowledge of shared interests, would it not be impossible to find the right person by waiting for chance to supply them?

I have to think about this more, but more importantly... I have to go to bed... for now, I refer you to Destiny, where I have continued my band memoirs ever so briefly...
