Change

I used to tell a story about how the colours in certain rooms in my house reflected my relationship mistakes of the past.

This week I repainted my bedroom, putting something relatively neutral over top of the ugly blue that the masochist had painted it a few months ago.  I then repainted my bathroom, putting something dark but still relatively neutral over top of the ugly purple that the dark-haired girl had painted it, which had in turn been painted over top of the ugly hospital green that my ex had painted it.

It's a theme I should probably avoid in the future.  Just because someone offers to do something "nice" for me as their boyfriend doesn't mean I have to say yes.
