I forgot to mention yesterday that C called again. I wasn't sure if she would, despite my leaving the door open for her to do so in our last conversation. We didn't actually have a conversation as much as play phone tag, but it's interesting.
I can tell that closure does indeed mean closure after all, as I'm not tempted to do anything beyond be friends at this point. Does being friends exclude sex? Interesting question. But a relationship beyond friends with her no longer lures me. Apparently it takes me a year or so to get a full read on someone, or fully analyze the situation. I suppose it depends on the situation, though, so to assume a year is the exact length of time in every case would be a bad assumption. Anywho, the point is that my expectation of what my feelings would be at this point has matched what they actually are, and that's a good thing in itself. Sometimes it's good not to be surprised.
