It's been a couple of days since I've heard from the musician. I've sent a note, I've left a message on her answering machine. Admittedly there is precedent for long periods where there would be no contact, but that was before meeting in person, and I didn't know when she would or wouldn't be available. I'm trying to calm my irrational and unnecessary fears. She's still interested, and what if she weren't? I have a positive opinion of her so far, and I'm interested in continuing to find out more, but I'm not that wrapped up in her.
It could just be that I'm sick, so I'm more inclined to... nah, who am I kidding... I'm always a bundle of worries.
Don't be overzealous....you don't want to scare her off by calling all the time. The ball is in her court now, if she wants to play she will toss it back.
ReplyDeleteYes; I've cut myself off at two contacts, although I was so tempted to make it three. If it were just e-mail, I would be concerned about junk mail filters and such, but an answering machine eliminates that possibility.
ReplyDeletePresuambly, you have sent her an email before and she received it...therfore eliminating the worry of junk mail filters.
