For some reason, the idea of the near-immediate prospect of marriage to the dark-haired girl is causing me some pause.
I went downtown to renew my passport today, and caught the eye of an attractive blonde about my age. It made me feel single.
Am I ready to settle down so soon?
We always want what we can't have. I think you have a bit of this happening to you...you long for a meaningful relationship but also don't want to give up the ability to experience dates with other people.

ReplyDeleteI love being able to talk to people, to meet new people, to have the opportunity to start relationships with no limits on where they might go. But one place they might go is serious commitment.
The only way one can have the best of both the single and committed worlds is to have all of the people involved interested in trying that, to be able to trust each other, and a lot of luck.
Possible, but so is a lightning strike on a clear day.
