Twirler

When I was a bar DJ, it was during the period of transition between vinyl and CDs.  As I would take the records out of their sleeves, I would spin them between my index fingers, perpendicularly to their normal axis, before at last putting them down on their destination platters.

When I ran in the park, I would carry a half litre water bottle which I would not drink, but instead would spin in the air in various ways, almost but not quite juggling it. My favorite spin would be where I would get the bottle horizontal, about 2 inches above my hand, looking like it was hovering there for a few seconds, magical.

At home I will occasionally find other things to do this to, such as the laundry basket I was just twirling through my fingers.

It's only madness if someone notices.
