Reading material

I am reading a book written by a speech therapist, about using those techniques to improve your sexual abilities. It reminds me that I would also simply like to be able to kiss better. I don't know that I even know what a kiss should be. Is it oral swordplay? A gentle caress? A search for tonsils?
