Well, this should be interesting.
My ex is back in town for the weekend unexpectedly, which means I suddenly have a couple of nights open to expand my social horizons. Since things are slow in this area, I said I would take her up on her offer of introducing me to someone, over drinks. Now this presents some obvious difficulties - including the fact that one of my major issues was that I never felt comfortable in social situations with my ex ( long story, review my blog :-) ) .... The struggle will be to be comfortable in an patently uncomfortable situation, to make an impression and be talkative in circumstances when I most clam up.
But you only live once... and I don't have a date for this weekend!
