It is only through making mistakes that I can learn to avoid them.

One of the things about life that fascinates me is how a split-second decision changes everything that follows after it. And every second there is an opportunity for a decision like that.
When I landed in Memphis, I had only a few minutes to make the connecting flight. Not enough time to eat, though I was starved. But I decided to quickly run in to buy two Memphis T-shirts. I bought them, ran like hell, and just barely made the flight. Everytime I wear them, I remember how a moment can change a lifetime.
