One of the dangers of my line of work is devilishly subtle. Posture. If I spend too much time in front of a computer and not sit up straight, it kills my back, which in turn kills me. I actually saw the chiropractor twice this week, which is the lazy way out, since I know I just need the right posture and exercise to fix the problem. Not to mention which, the chiro-thing doesn't really work that well for me.
So this week I've been failing to avoid this pitfall, and I'm paying the price today.
I think tonight will be supper (Steak, chili-style beans, pineapple), a movie (Crash, maybe? at last?), and early to bed (whee!).

The answer is:
ReplyDeleteA bad spell of weather.
I groaned so loudly when I read this that my kids came running in to find out what it was!

Hey Me!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment on my Space. Of course I had to come read your stuff too.
I understand the exercise thing, but I have no clue how much of my Space you read, but I have MS and don't always have the energy to exercise. I try walking as much as possible, but at this time of year I end up walking as if I can't bend my knees! It's frustrating at times, but I get by.
How is Saskatchewan these days? I haven't been there in ages, but I love it.
And how did you come across my Space? I'm always curious and I do understand the need to meet people online when you're cooped up inside all day working!
Anyway, you take care!
Adrienne
Sorry, I had forgotten about the MS! I remember now. (sheepish, sheepish)
ReplyDeleteSaskatchewan? It's cold, very cold. :-) I normally don't like promoting the stereotype, but I have to be honest - I just finished shoveling a couple of feet of blown in snow off my driveway and my fingers are numb. The sad part is that it's my own fault for choosing this house - it's across from a schoolyard. All my neighbours have hardly any snow!
I ran across your blog last month from a link on another Saskatchewan blog. All blogs can be addictive, but my favourites are from my fellow Canadians (sorry Kat, no offense meant! *grin*). And I have a special place in my heart for Nova Scotia... I was down there almost ten years ago and I'm still dying to go back. Perhaps this summer...
