Too many things on my mind tonight, all of which don't need to be.
So here I am.
*yawn*
Two games left in the soccer season for my youngest's team. It still seems odd that I, geek, no sport played other than in school, should end up as the coach this season. It's fascinating though... from the practices to the games. Even though I'm not playing, I still have to come up with the strategy on where to put the players, how to direct, motivate and encourage them, keep the parents somewhat happy, and even perhaps win a few games. I really want to spend some more time learning about the game in the off-season, and do it again in the summer.

I've added a link to Scott Adam's blog. It's far too interesting for this time of night, but he gets a bingo from me for this expanded version of one of my rules:
"I give people my trust before they earn it, so long as the downside of doing so isn’t too deadly. But that has less to do with those other people and more to do with who I want to be. I find that trust changes people. They become what you tell them you expect. Likewise, you become what you expect of yourself. "
Ok, now that that's blogged, let's try again... big day tomorrow.
